Theme: The Wind

Ansel Adams, Old Faithful, Yosemite Park. 1941

The new theme is “The Wind.”

I try to find us themes that can be seen from the metaphorical to the literal.  Here are some ideas that come to mind for me.

The winds of autumn.

The winds of change.

The fire winds.

The winds of the desert. The Sirocco (Katie, you may experience this in Barcelona.)

The winds of war.

The Winds of Winter. (The next book planned by George R.R. Martin, a new Game of Thrones book).

Wind mill.

Breath, breathless.

My initial thoughts on “A Thousand Mornings.”

I am building a practice of waking up early.  It is a time when I can meet myself and hear myself. It is a time when all else is quiet and calm and my spirit can be heard before the chatter of children, ego, and before to-do lists fill the soundscape of my day.
